CertMeUp is a transparent, open review platform connecting businesses and consumers to foster trust and collaboration.
The term “our platform” refers to CertMeUp.com, its subdomains, directories, related websites, apps, and all associated content (reviews, comments, data, etc.).
Before using our platform, please review these terms of use (“terms”), which govern your responsibilities and outline our commitments. These terms also reference key policies:

Your access to the platform depends on your agreement with these terms. If you disagree, do not use our platform. You accept these terms by using the platform or affirming consent (e.g., clicking an “I agree” button).
Joining and Using CertMeUp
“You” refers to any person or entity using the platform. “We,” “our,” and “CertMeUp” refer to the relevant entity based on your location.
Third-party services may appear on the platform. We don’t endorse or guarantee these and aren’t liable for them. Compatibility with your device is also not guaranteed.
User Account: To leave a review or interact with content, you must create a single, non-transferable user account. You can register using Facebook, Google, Microsoft or your email. Your username will be visible publicly and must not include inappropriate or misleading content.
You are responsible for your account’s security, activities, and keeping your information current. Account verification (via photo ID and selfie) is optional but enhances trust.
Your Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Follow these terms, our Guidelines, and policies
- Be at least 18 years old
- Avoid actions that harm platform functionality, integrity, or other users
- Not submit fake or misleading reviews
- Not share or reuse platform content or IP without permission
- Avoid marketing, scraping, or creating competing services
- Not engage in abusive behavior or harass CertMeUp staff
- Only link to the platform in ways that don’t imply false associations
Guidelines and Policies
Our Guidelines and policies apply to your use and may be updated at any time without notice. Continued use implies acceptance.
Intellectual Property
We retain all IP rights in our platform (software, design, content, etc.). You may not use or replicate our content or branding without permission.
User Content
You own any content you post and must ensure you have the rights to share it. Unless removed by you or us, it may remain public indefinitely and accessible via third parties (e.g., Google).
By posting content, you grant us a global, royalty-free license to use, share, and adapt it. This includes legal rights to protect the content.
Platform Activity Data
We may collect usage data (“platform activity data”) to improve services, create insights, and develop features. We own all rights to this data.
Feedback
We welcome feedback and may use it freely and indefinitely without compensating you.

Impartiality
All reviews must reflect genuine, unbiased experiences and comply with our Guidelines. User opinions are not representative of CertMeUp’s views.
Privacy and Confidentiality
Your personal data is managed according to our Privacy Policy.
Both parties must protect each other’s confidential information unless required by law or shared with affiliates. User-generated content and feedback are not considered confidential.
Account Suspension or Termination
We may moderate or remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that breach our terms or policies. Repeated violations may lead to permanent suspension, with prior notice where possible.
You may delete your account at any time, which removes your reviews from the platform.
Disclaimer and Liability
Except as required by law, CertMeUp is not liable for indirect or punitive damages. If liable, our total responsibility is capped at 100.00 euros.
The platform is provided “as is,” without guarantees. We exclude all implied warranties where allowed by law.
You agree to indemnify CertMeUp for any legal claims resulting from unlawful use of the platform.
Disputes
Most issues can be resolved via our support team. If legal action is required, it will be handled in the jurisdiction specified in section Governing Law.
Other Provisions
- We may update terms or the platform at any time without notice.
- We are not liable for events beyond our control.
- Greek governs all official communications and terms.
- If any part of these terms is unenforceable, the remainder still applies.
- Terms are interpreted without limitation, and “at our discretion” means our sole discretion.
Governing Law
Your agreement is with CertMeUp and applicable law is based on Athens, Greece.
